Hello Suzzana, ho0e you are doing good. Please don't panic. One can suffer from thyroid at any stage of life. Many people get this disease in a very young age. You are lucky to get it after one child. Thyroid can be treated. But not completely. There are few medicines given to be taken while pregnant. I know it's very difficult but not impossible. Don't loose hope. Take care.

Some problems are temporary. Their effect is not permanent. You were able to have one child. Therefore you will have more. Take proper medication. Don't let this get to your head. Enjoy your time with your kid. When time comes plan for more.

Hey dear. Hope you are feeling better now. I think your doctor can help you better. If this hasn't created problem for you in your first childbirth then it may not later too. However, your specialist can guide you better. You should go see them quickly so that you can be treated. I hope it doesn't cause problems for you. Take care.

Hi guys, i am passing through some mental torture and thought if I could share. I have never known my entire life that thyroid problem affects infertility. So when I was young, I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Actually the family that I am coming from is prone to this type of diseases. I also have a sister who is suffering and is in a similar situation. It is something that runs in the family. I have also never known that such a disease can be genetically passed. To start, I am a proud mother of one. But within the first year of birth things started changing. I started facing amenorrhea, that is absent period. I thought it was normal because I was just from giving birth. I associated it with some hormonal imbalance. Then there came loss of libido. I also blamed it on the child birth. My husband started saying that it could be strange. So I went to see a doctor. I was told that I have hyperthyroidism. It has been something that comes and goes. Since I was young. I started doing research and found out that it affects fertility. I am now worried. I am married and want more children. What if I heal and it comes back again. Does it mean that I will be facing some fertility issues because of the thyroid disease?
The thyroid develops marginally in solid ladies in pregnancy. Thyroid issues can be difficult to analyze in pregnancy because of larger amounts of thyroid hormones and different side effects that happen in both pregnancy and thyroid issue

Uncontrolled hypothyroidism during pregnancy can prompt genuine medical issues in the mother and can influence the unborn infant's development and mental health.
