Died in sleep

Post by Marymela » Thu Nov 09, 2017 8:19 am

I am still in a dilemma. My friend’s baby was born a week ago. The baby was alright and of the right weight. She had her doubts after coming home because the baby cried all times. She was fussy all the nights and couldn’t breastfeed well. It was during one afternoon that she wet wiped the baby. After dressing it, the baby slept. It was after noticing that she had slept more than usual, she only found the baby dead. This is unusual and she is overwhelmed by grief. What do you think was the problem?

Oh that's really sad. I think it's a natural death.

Oh my God this very heart breaking. I don't know what the mother would be going through. It is very traumatizing for me to even read it here. Please take care of your friend. There must be something wrong with baby. Maybe delayed treatment or something. I don't know what exactly. This is so sad. Lots of love for your friend.

I am so sorry to hear that! I sympathize with you on this one. No one should suffer that kind of pain. I can only imagine how tough it must have been on your friend. I guess it is just such a huge loss. We, ladies here on this forum, have difficulty conceiving as it is. I just think she must be overwhelmed with grief. I wish her good luck! No one has to suffer such a fatal loss! I hope all the women in the world get to have kids and keep them!

OMG. That is so sad. So sorry for you and your friend. The crying is normal for new borns. When my niece came my sister barely slept throught the first two months. But this one sounds like the crying was too much. Could it be that the baby was sick and it was not detected?
